About River's Edge

River's Edge is wooded, rolling countryside in Jackson County, Kentucky, about 45 miles northeast of Somerset, 35 miles south of Richmond and 60 miles south of Lexington. London is also a short drive away, and the Daniel Boone National Forest is close by. The property is divided into 41 surveyed tracts from about 1.6 to 9.5 acres, and every corner has been staked and pinned.

The tracts are well wooded with tall trees, and deer, turkey and other wildlife are often seen on the property, so it is a natural fit for hunting. The Rockcastle River runs along the eastern edge of the property and a stream winds along the western and northern sides, so many tracts have water frontage for fishing and recreation. The Sheltowee Trace passes along the western and northern edge of the property. The average elevation is about 1,010 feet.
